I’ll go into more detail about this in the Q&A (Part One tomorrow) - it was amazing to see the response from people when I asked them for field recordings I could include in the album - audio from all over the world from West Coast USA to Japan, down to South Africa and up to Canada.
Was fascinating to hear what people chose to record, especially non-musician family and friends with no experience capturing their surroundings in this way.
They all helped and encouraged me through last year - so very fitting and means so much they are part of the music.
If you bought the CD, message me for the long-form - woven together with additional elements and fx, , I had it in the forefront of my mind from the very beginning of making the album so it’s most complete way to experience the music.
